1. Who We Are
Product Photo Studio ("we," "our," "us") is operated by SecretCode SRL. Contact us at contact@secretcode.ro.
2. What Data We Collect (and Don't)
We DO NOT Collect:
• Names, email addresses, or phone numbers (unless you email us for support)
• Location data
• Browsing history or app usage across other apps
• Advertising identifiers or tracking pixels
• Payment card details (handled entirely by Apple)
We DO Collect:
• Photos you choose to edit: Images you select from your Photos library or capture with your Camera
• Device identifiers: Anonymous app instance ID to prevent abuse and manage rate limits
• Technical logs: IP address, device type, OS version, crash logs—retained briefly (30 days) for troubleshooting and security
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your photos and technical data only to:
• Process your images with AI and return edited results
• Prevent abuse, spam, and illegal content
• Fix bugs and improve app performance
• Comply with legal obligations
We never:
• Show you ads based on your photos
• Sell or rent your data
• Track you across apps or websites
4. Permissions We Request
You can change permissions anytime in iOS Settings → Product Photo Studio.
5. Data Sharing
• AI processing partners: Your images are sent to our secure cloud servers and AI service providers to generate edited outputs. These partners process data only on our behalf and under strict confidentiality.
• Law enforcement: We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or to prevent harm.
• No advertising or analytics partners: We do not share data with ad networks or third-party trackers.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
On your device:
Images and edits are stored locally until you delete them.
On our servers:
• Uploaded images and outputs are retained only as long as necessary to process your request (typically seconds to minutes)
• Server logs and processing artifacts are deleted after 30 days unless needed for abuse prevention or legal compliance
How to delete:
• Delete your account: Go to Profile → Delete Account. This permanently deletes your account, profile information, all generated images, generation history, and credits balance. This action is irreversible.
• Local content only: Delete images from the app gallery or your Photos library
• Request specific data deletion: Email contact@secretcode.ro
7. Security
We protect your data using:
• Encryption in transit (TLS) when uploading/downloading images
• Encryption at rest on our servers
• Access controls: Only authorized personnel can access processing systems
No system is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted or breach-free service.
8. International Transfers and Legal Basis
Your data may be processed on servers outside Romania and the EU. We rely on:
• GDPR/EU regulations: Legitimate interest (providing the service you requested) and consent (when you upload photos)
• Standard contractual clauses for transfers outside the EU
• Romanian data protection law (Law 190/2018)
9. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
• Access your data
• Delete your data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Export your data (portability)
• Object to processing
• Withdraw consent anytime
To exercise rights:
• Delete your account: Go to Profile → Delete Account in the app. This will permanently delete your account and all associated data including images, generation history, and credits.
• Other requests (access, correction, export): Email contact@secretcode.ro. We'll respond within 30 days.
No automated decisions: We do not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
10. Children's Privacy
Product Photo Studio is for users 16 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If we learn we've collected such data, we'll delete it promptly. Parents: contact contact@secretcode.ro to request removal.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. Changes take effect when posted. We'll notify you via in-app message or the updated Effective Date above. Continued use means acceptance.
